Check out this very cool blog entry by our very own, Arnie. Arnie has been collecting ticket stubs forever. Recently he was acquainted with an artist who photographs ticket stubs as pieces of art. Arnie’s blog on the subject is fascinating to any lover of music and/or art. Highly Recommended!!! Check it out and when you do preferably pull it up on a computer to fully appreciate the artwork’s brilliance.

Back Soon …

Posted: January 11, 2026 in Uncategorized

I normally have about 3 weeks backlog of posts scheduled but, due to some crazy personal problems during the week of Christmas, followed by a trip to Ireland and then some pressing needs upon getting back, CMI scheduled posts dried up.

Plan to get back up and running sometime this week.

Do all that you can to survive without CMI for a few more days …

To Ireland

Sayed and I are leaving for Ireland tonight. We will be back on August 1st.

But fear not, I have scheduled posts for while I’m away. I’m hoping I will have internet service while away to vote and comment. Carry on as best you can without us …

It will be officially published in July.

Please disregard The Ballad of the Opening Band post. It was meant for a later date. We’ll address it in a couple of weeks.

I will be resurrecting covermeimpressed within the next few weeks. Some dirty bastard stole the domain name covermeimpressed.com so the new domain name will be covermeimpressed.blog.

Hope to see you soon …

“What is that feeling when you’re driving away from people and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? – it’s the too-huge world vaulting us, and it’s good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies.” – Jack Kerouac

Pete Seeger back to the camera

I don’t recall feeling worse over the passing of a person who I never knew or met. Pete Seeger, quite simply, was one of my favorite people. He seemed to embody everything that was good in the world.
