Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words …
Disclaimer: Votes cast from Florida may or may not be counted.
I don’t care for Whyte Horses’ version. Too fast. But that vocalist sounds a lot like Lou himself.
Well it’s great to be back. I’m a bit surprised U2 didn’t garner any votes. They usually attract a lot of attention. Personally I kinda liked the Whyte Horses feat Badly Drawn Boy version the most.
I like the whytehorses version quite a bit. It had a very Ringo star vibe for me, but at the end I ended up going with kowtow because I just think stylistically It was a better version, but I enjoyed them both. They were both great choices. I don’t really care for you too, so I couldn’t get all the way through it
ok, to be clear i only had time to listen to U2 before heading to a job,
but that topless chick in leather pants and the fascinating back tattoos instantly won my vote.
will have more time very soon to do a bit more research before votes
I didn’t know U2 covered that. Come to think of it, they didn’t do a lot of covers. Nothing wrong with their version, but they didn’t change it much from the original.
I’d never heard of Kowtow Popof. They added a little percussion. Not bad.
I voted Whyte Horses/Badly Drawn Boy cause they altered it more, spiced it up and made it more interesting.
Good to be back! Let’s get some more reviwers on board.
tough one, RDubbs –
My favorite was the white horse one because it was the most upbeat
like Kowtow Popof the best, especially the guitar solo. Oddly, my son, the guitar affictionato went with the more upbeat, whyte horses
