Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On!??!

Didn’t like the vocals with The London Symphony Orchestra. Really tough one between Nena and Molly Tuttle. I liked both quite a bit. Have to go with one or the other. I went Nina.
Before listening, I assumed I’d vote Molly Tuttle. I have a CD by her, which I like. She’s usually a bluegrass artist, and I’m a huge fan of bluegrass.
But, as they say, that’s why they play the games.
Nena pulled the upset with compelling vocals on a track that also featured some great drumming.
Just a great song. Keith Richards wrote it for his daughter.
I thought Nena did a good job of making the song modern and definitely distinctly her own. What I liked about it is that it felt more like an reimagination of the song than just a cover.
this was never one of my favorite Rolling Stones songs so I thought it was gonna be hard to make a decision here, but turned out it wasn’t.
I also don’t really care for political or woke messages in music videos these days. On either side of the fence. Just sing the damn song and keep the controversy to yourself.
The orchestral version was lengthy and soporific. Nena was playful and pleasant but I still haven’t forgiven her for flashing me her ghastly armpit fur in 99 Luftballoons video. I was disappointed that Molly Tuttle’s version wasn’t better but I chose her anyway due to preferred hygiene.
Nena knocks it out of the park.
Yeah, I’m giving it to Nena as well.
