Oh the disharmony! Much like Harlan County there are no neutrals here. It is your solemn responsibility to decide which cover song prevails. In other words … Which Side Are You On!??!

Great song and 3 excellent covers. Interestingly, for those of you who are not Hebrew speakers, the cover by Rockpor is called “Cinderella”. No idea why that should be because there are a multitude of bus stops all over Israel. So it’s not like nobody would know what the song was about if they had left the title as is.

Interesting to hear the international versions. I give Candies points for visual presentation. Almost got my vote just for the video.

Had to go with Material Issue from that Hollies tribute disc, which is great throughout. But that’s what is expected from me, given my love of all things Hollies.

Thanks for throwin’ me a bone today, Dubbs!

I appreciate Doug’s vocals for Rockfour, would like to have dinner with the Candies, but my vote goes to Material Issue.

I’m not casting a vote This time. I didn’t care for any of the covers. However, if I could vote for Graham Gouldman Then that would be my vote this round.

I like all 3. Rockfour has a solid thrum going but no joy. Unable to suss the lyrics it seemed they singing about something even more tragic than public transportation romance. The Candies were fun to watch. I remember that lounge from a psychedelic dream. It was a Tuesday and Godzilla did a crushing version of Smash It Up. Material Issue for the win with power pop bliss. Instruments to the fore without forsaking the harmonies.
